PK Hazel Launches East Legon Studio

Hazel Photography and Film has reached another milestone in its existence: the fifth anniversary since its introduction as a wedding and family photography business. This year is especially significant with the opening of the PK Hazel Studios at East Legon. On the fourteenth of March this year, Paa Kofi Hazel (founder and CEO), welcomed family, friends, some clients and vendors to his new studio and office hub.

Though it was introduced as a wedding photography outfit, Hazel Photography and Film has now diversified its scope to include architectural and product photography as well as photography and video coverage of corporate events under its Hazel Commerce branch.

Paa Kofi describes the studio facility as a creative space for photography enthusiasts and creators. The studio is complete with a shooting area, make-up station, changing room, storage room, and work station. Plans are also underway to develop a garden area for outdoor shoots.

At the studio launch, Mr Hazel gave a visual presentation on the history of his career in Photography which was a detour from his formal education in telecom engineering. The self-taught photographer described how his interest was initiated with his active participation in the New Media Ministries at the church where he fellowships. A decade down the road, we cannot help but admire the consistency and professionalism that the PK Hazel brand has been noted for.

Highlights of the event included a tape-cutting and dedication ceremony, short interviews and good will messages by guests and posing with the camera prop. There was a raffle draw to choose 3 winners for free portrait sessions at the studio and of course, refreshments.

Special thanks go to 365 Events Ghana, Aforkor Consults, Ntama Trends and Balloon Frenzy Ghana from the entire management and staff of Hazel Photography and Film for their support over the years.

The management of PK Hazel Studios invite the general public to book an appointment when it is officially open for service.
